WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) – Gilmer DeMumbrum, 59, of 501 Main, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday (Dec. 9, 1969) just before midnight. He had lived in Williamsport the past 43 years. He attended the Williamsport Baptist Church. He was a finished welder for Berger Steel Co., in Lafayette. Born May 4, 1910, in Edmonton, Ky., he was the son of Noah and Josephine DeMumbrum, He married Mary Jane Wagner Nov. 23, 1934 at Newtown. Survivors include his widow; three sons, Bill of Attica, Robert of Williamsport and Daniel of Lafayette; a brother, Clarence of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Harp, of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Mable Love of Noblesville, and two grandchildren. Services will be at the Baptist church at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. James Jacks officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Crowmer-Siddens Mortuary in Williamsport after 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. – jlr
